How To Find Abundant Life


"The thief comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy:  I am come tha that you might have life, and that yu might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

Jesus came to help us.  He wants to deliver us from evil.  He wants to bless us with good.  Faith and obedience are the keys to experiencing the abundant life Jesus promised.  By faith we believe that God is good and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.  Through obedience we experience the benefits reaped by faith.

The abundant life and blessing Jesus promised come to us by the Word of God.  God is in His Word.  His life, His nature, is in the promises.  When we appropriate His promises by faith and apply His principles through obedience, we are certain to be blessed.

"According as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue:  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:  that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust" (2 Peter 1:3-4).

You can find abundant life by feeding your spirit the Word of God.

"Thy words were found and I did eat them; and Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart" (Jeremiah 15:16).
